2011 Global Environmental Citizen Awards, Honoring Gisele Bundchen

THE CENTER'S GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL CITIZEN AWARD recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to furthering knowledge about the global environment and promoting awareness about the urgent need to protect it.
 

Gisele Bundchen, supermodel and United Nations Environmental Ambassador, is recognized worldwide for her passionate commitment to the environment. Please join us in honoring her important contributions to environmental conservation and sustainable living. 

All proceeds from the event support the Center's efforts to educate others about how human health depends on the health of the environment. The Center raises 100% of its budget each year. 
 

The event will feature cuisine prepared by Master Chefs, and leaders in sustainable cuisine, Barton Seaver, Mary Cleaver, and Bill Telepan.
